Glamping In The Garden

Anyone staying in our glamping tents between Monday 28 September 2026
and Friday 9 October 2026 will enjoy a FREE expert-guided tour of the night sky! 

Glamping guests will be guided by passionate astronomy hosts who blend science,
storytelling, and a relaxed atmosphere to create a night that is equal parts educational
and unforgettable.

Guests enjoy high quality telescopes, laser guided tours of the sky, and plenty of
opportunities to ask questions while discovering the beauty of Australia’s dark skies.

Attention Solo Travellers

Travelling solo can be magical, but we also know that sometimes
if can be financially difficult, which is why we have developed a special
glamping package for solo travellers.  Every Friday night providing vacancies
are available we will offering a limited number of $300 (normally $475) solo
glamping packages.  You’ll get a luxury glamping tent to yourself, as well
as a three-course meal in our renowned garden restaurant and a two-day garden
ticket.  NO online bookings, you must call 0417 067 257 to lock in your solo
visit.

Immerse yourself in Australia’s largest private garden estate and glamp in luxurious comfort whilst enjoying the tranquillity and majestic surrounds of Australia’s largest private garden estate.

Total cost for our Glamping package is $475 per couple, which includes:

-  Accommodation in luxuriously appointed tents located by Mayfield’s Obelisk Pond. Each tent fitted with authentic natural fibre rugs, Queen-size bed, luxurious mattresses, and high grade linen.       

-  A three-course a la carte dinner is also included in our Glamping Package, with the choice    of indoor or outdoor eating at our renowned garden  restaurant. 

-  Two-day garden admission ticket is also included.

We will happily cater for families, with cost of each child only $105. Our tents will cater for a  family of four, and five at a stretch.

One of the great joys of glamping at Mayfield is retiring to bed after a sumptuous three-course meal at the Mayfield restaurant and then waking up to the tranquillity and soundtrack of one of the most beautiful gardens in regional Australia. 

We’ll even deliver breakfast to your tent!

We will also happily cater a sunset picnic complete with a bottle of champagne.

Inclusions:

Full garden access for all members of your party on both day of arrival and day of departure.

Luxurious linen, premium queen size mattress, interior rugs, custom wooden bed bases, outdoor chairs and table, bedside tables, cushions, pillows and towels.

Three-course a la carte dinner for two. Two-course meal included for each additional child aged 16 and under. Drinks are additional cost.   

(Please note we cannot cater meet Halal or Kosher dietary requirements.)

Dinner served at restaurant from 6:00-8:00pm.

Undercover communal space.

Hot showers available for exclusive use of glamping guests.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Check in time is between 4pm and 7pm.
2. You must check out by 10am – we need to get the tent ready for the next evening’s guests.
3. You can choose to arrive earlier than 4.00pm and spend time in the garden prior to accessing
   your tent.  Similarly, you can stay in the garden after checking out of your tent.
4. Our tents will fit a maximum of four people - two adults and two children (aged 16 years and under).
5. Tents are fitted with a Queen-size bed, whilst children are provided with a single mattress.
6. Rain does not affect our glamping bookings. Our tents are 100% waterproof and there is adequate additional cover. 
   Dinner is also served in the air-conditioned comfort of our restaurant. 
7. Mayfield Garden does not refund upon cancellation, but you are permitted to transfer your booking to another family member or friend.
8. Dates can be changed within the same season, subject to availability.
9. No dogs or other pets are allowed to stay overnight in the garden.
10. You can’t bring your own food and drinks.
11. Quiet time starts at 10pm - please respect other guests - we reserve the right to ask you to leave, without a refund.
12. No smoking in tents or glamping area.
13. You can’t light a campfire of any description.
14. For safety reasons, you must stay inside the glamping and/or café area between sunset and sunrise.
